These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the JompShop platform, including our website, Shop app storefront, and any linked social media channels (collectively, the "Platform"). By using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use JompShop.

1. The JompShop Platform

JompShop is an online multi-vendor marketplace that connects independent vendors with customers. JompShop acts as an intermediary  facilitating listings, transactions, and customer support; but is not the seller of record unless explicitly stated. Each vendor is responsible for their own products and fulfillment.

2. Account & User Responsibilities

To place an order or register as a vendor, you must provide accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. JompShop reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Purchases & Orders

  • All prices are listed in US Dollars ($) and are subject to change without notice.
  • Submitting an order is an offer to purchase; JompShop or the relevant vendor may accept or decline any order.
  • Once an order is confirmed and payment is processed, a binding transaction is formed between the customer and the vendor.
  • JompShop reserves the right to cancel orders involving suspected fraud, pricing errors, or stock discrepancies.

4. Payments

All transactions are processed securely through our payment partners. By completing a purchase, you authorize the charge to your selected payment method for the full order total, including any applicable taxes and shipping. For full details, see our Payment Terms.

5. Shipping & Delivery

Delivery timelines vary by vendor and are displayed on each product listing. JompShop is not responsible for carrier delays outside our control. For full details, refer to our Shipping Policy.

6. Returns & Refunds

Customers may be eligible for a refund or replacement within 7 days of delivery under qualifying circumstances. For full details, refer to our Refund Policy.

7. Vendor Obligations

All vendors operating on JompShop agree to:

  • List products accurately, including descriptions, pricing, and stock levels.
  • Fulfill orders promptly and communicate with customers in good faith.
  • Comply with all applicable laws regarding the products they sell.
  • Pay JompShop the agreed commission on all sales facilitated through the platform.

Vendors who breach these obligations may be suspended or permanently removed from the platform.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the JompShop platform — including logos, design, text, and graphics — is the property of JompShop or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any platform content without prior written permission.

9. Prohibited Conduct

When using JompShop, you agree not to:

  • Engage in any fraudulent, deceptive, or unlawful activity.
  • List, sell, or purchase counterfeit, stolen, or prohibited goods.
  • Attempt to disrupt, hack, or interfere with the platform's operation.
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users or vendors.

10. Disclaimers

JompShop provides the platform on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant that the platform will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of viruses. Product quality and accuracy of listings are the responsibility of the individual vendors.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, JompShop shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the platform. Our total liability to you in any circumstances shall not exceed the amount paid for the transaction in question.

12. Changes to These Terms

JompShop may revise these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the platform after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Nigeria.
